ATTEST Y.1564 Field Test Solution

Veryx ATTEST Y.1564 Field Test solution provides service providers an easy and efficient Carrier Ethernet service assurance solution. ATTEST Y.1564 solution verifies that the Carrier Ethernet Service in the service provider network is configured correctly and performs as per the specified Service Acceptance Criteria defined in the ITU-T Y.1564 standard.

ATTEST performs these tests at geographically separate locations, using a set of remote ATTEST probes. The ATTEST probes are controlled from a central ATTEST Server running on ST-1000.

Veryx ATTEST Y.1564 Field Test solution helps verify an Ethernet Service prior to the service activation and customer delivery for Configuration and performance using the methodology specified by ITU-T Y.1564 Standard.

The solution:

• Enables quick testing for Ethernet Services using the Y.1564 standard activation test methodology.

• Verifies Point to Point and Point to Multi Point services

• Measures the Performance Metrics (Frame Delay, Frame Delay Variation and Frame Transfer Delay) and
compares with the service activation objectives.

• Performs Short, Medium and Long term testing, verifying the service performance in the network.
