Xena Networks, manufacturer of probably the world’s best Ethernet traffic generator and analysis solutions, today announced the appointment of ihr Automotive, a German-based provider of Automotive Engineering Services and Products, as their partner for distributing Xena’s Automotive Ethernet test solutions in Europe.

Xena’s Automotive Ethernet test solutions are used by car manufactures and their suppliers around the globe. Renowned for their award-winning price/performance and ease-of-use, Xena’s solutions can be used in the whole development chain from the initial R&D phase right through to production line testing and validation. Xena is the first vendor to support all the current Automotive Ethernet standards on a single test module without needing special transceivers or media converters. Support for the optional Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) protocol completes the functional network communication testing offering.

“We are proud to welcome ihr Automotive to Xena’s partner network”, said Thomas Schulze, Xena’s Director of Automotive Business Development. “The automotive industry is a demanding sector which needs highly skilled partners who can deliver world-class support. The team at ihr Automotive have the expertise needed in In-Vehicle Networking as well as huge experience in testing all kinds of networking technologies like CAN, LIN and especially Automotive Ethernet.”

“Joining Xena’s worldwide partner network with the opportunity to sell their products in Europe is a significant step towards completing our product portfolio,” said Jörg Holzberg, CEO of IHR Automotive. “Xena has Automotive Ethernet test products that can be used from the lab-based development phase right through to the assembly line. Together with our SPICE-compliant driver development for LIN, CAN and Ethernet bus systems, and our accredited ISO17025 testing this will strengthen IHR Automotive’s position as a preferred vendor for Automotive Ethernet solutions.”
